What's Happening This Weekend...

17th Annual Fairfield Chocolate Festival

The Salvation Army Waterville Corps & the Town of Fairfield invites your family to the 17th Annual Fairfield Chocolate Festival. Proceeds from the benefit will be used for area residents and will feature live entertainment, children’s events, luncheon & refreshment items, plenty of shopping, and chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!

Prisoners of Love
February 13
Southwest Harbor
The Island Communities in Service (ICIS) group is sponsoring A Prisoners of Love Lock-Up on Saturday, February 13 from 9:30am to 12:00pm at Chow Maine Restaurant on Clark Point Rd. in Southwest Harbor. This is a great opportunity to watch some of your favorite local characters be locked up and where you have the chance to pay their bail or even pay to keep them in jail longer. The Chain Gang March with Police Escort will begin at 10am. Brunch will be served with donations encouraged. All proceeds will benefit The Next Step Domestic Violence Project which provides free and confidential services to women in Hancock County (667-4606/1-800-315-5579) and Washington County (255-4785/1-888-604-8692). 9:30 am to noon.

Golden Dragon Chinese Acrobats

This talented group of acrobats will amaze and delight you. They embody a tradition that began over 25 centuries ago, and their ability to contort, dance, juggle, and nearly defy gravity is astounding. 7 pm. $25 for adults; $8 for children.

Make a Valentine at the Maine Discovery Museum
February 14
Bangor
We'll provide fancy papers, doilies, and plenty of sparkly decorations for you to make a valentine for someone special. We'll have safety scissors for even the youngest artists and will show you special tricks and folding techniques. 2 pm.

Chocolate Festival

Greenville
